Portsmouth 1-3 Liverpool
Too bad that Man Utd's win denied us any chance of 2nd (if only it hadn't been for Rio's late winner in our league meeting...) Still, a satisfactory performance, with three more goals from strikers - Crouch's against a former club and former rival. The result was marred only by failing to keep a clean sheet, and an injury to Alonso making him doubtful for the FA Cup Final.

Yeah it's a shame man utd won, i didn't really expect them to slip up against charlton but there was always hope that we'd pip them at the post for second place. Bring on next season
