Free Speech

I didn't get a ticket to hear Griffin and Irving at the Union. It may have been interesting or it may have been a pile of ****. I did, however, vote to support their invitation. I take Dworkin's line that we need to engage with and defeat abhorrent views rather than suppress them.

Hmm - the only trouble there is that Irving rather likes trying to censor other people.
Also, be assured that I have used this opportunity to the greatest advantage to make sick jokes involving expressions such as 'wanking in the shower', to which dear old Dave gives a whole new meaning. :)
